Having taken note of the comments and recommendations of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/28/18, paras. 39 and 40), the Executive Committee decided to request UNIDO to refine the strategy plan for ODS phase-out from production of the extruded polyethylene and polystyrene foam sub-sectors of China, and resubmit it to the Executive Committee. In the revised strategy, the total capacity of the enterprises for which funding for conversion would be sought would correspond to the existing level of production of the sub-sector indicated in the strategy, including those projects already approved.
