Yemen: Total phase-out of the use of methyl bromide in agriculture (Germany) (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/64 and UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/64/Corr.1)
Having considered the comments and recommendation of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/14, paragraphs 43 and 44), the Executive Committee decided to approve the above project proposal as a technical assistance programme for Yemen at a cost of US $250,000 plus agency support costs of US $32,500 to phase out 9.1 ODP tonnes of methyl bromide, on the understanding that approval of the project was without prejudice to the operation of the Montreal Protocol’s mechanisms dealing with non-compliance issues.
