The Executive Committee therefore decided:
- To approve phase IV of the institutional strengthening project for Ecuador for a period of one year only, at the level of funding indicated in Annex VII to the present report, on the understanding that the approval was without prejudice to the operation of the Montreal Protocol’s mechanism for addressing non-compliance; and
- To express to the Government of Ecuador its views that appear in Annex X to the present report.
