Decision 55/37

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To approve, in principle, the servicing sector terminal CFC phase-out plan for Chile, at the amount of US $437,500 plus agency support costs of US $56,875 for the Government of Canada, on the understanding that approval of the project would not set a precedent;
2. To approve the agreement between the Government of Chile and the Executive Committee for the implementation of the servicing sector terminal CFC phase-out plan as contained in Annex XIII to the present report;
3. To urge the Government of Canada to take full account of the requirements of decisions 41/100 and 49/6 of the Executive Committee during implementation of the servicing sector terminal CFC phase-out plan; and
4. To approve the first tranche of the servicing sector terminal CFC phase-out plan at the funding level indicated in Annex IV to the present report.
