OPERATION OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided:

  1. To maintain the status quo of holding three meetings a year;
  2. To request the Secretariat to organize, within the next year, one meeting with a duration of four days, rather than five days;
  3. To request the Secretariat to monitor the time and workload at Meetings of the Executive Committee as compared to meetings of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol and the Open-Ended Working Group; and
  4. To place the issue of the operation of Executive Committee Meetings on the agenda for the 61st Meeting, taking into consideration the experience gained pursuant to sub‑paragraph (b) and the findings of sub-paragraph (c) above.
