The Executive Committee decided to approve the demonstration project to validate the use of super‑critical CO2 in the manufacture of sprayed polyurethane (PU) rigid foam in Colombia, at a cost of US $441,100, plus agency support costs of US $57,343 for Japan, on the understanding that the project was approved on an exceptional basis and would be the final and only validation project for super-critical CO2 technology in the manufacture of sprayed polyurethane rigid foams.
