The Executive Committee decided:
- To approve the request for technical assistance for the final elimination of methyl bromide in the post-harvest sector in Kenya at a total cost of US $287,700, plus agency support costs of US $21,578 for UNIDO, on the understanding that no additional funding would be provided to Kenya for the phase-out of controlled uses of methyl bromide in the country; and
- To approve the revised Agreement between the Government of Kenya and the Executive Committee for the phase-out of controlled uses of methyl bromide, contained in Annex VII to the present report.
