The Chair introduced the sub-item. The Executive Committee decided:
- To note, with appreciation, the final report, submitted by UNDP, of the project for the demonstration of R-290 (propane) as an alternative refrigerant to HCFC-22 in commercial air-conditioning manufacturing at Industrias Thermotar Ltda in Colombia; and
- To invite bilateral and implementing agencies to take into account the report referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above when assisting Article 5 countries in preparing projects in air-conditioning sectors.
