Decision 82/20

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the report on the use of carbon tetrachloride (CTC) for feedstock applications in India, submitted by UNDP, contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/82/20;
2. To note the Government of India would continue monitoring the production and use of CTC to ensure continued compliance with the phase-out of consumption of CTC and production of CTC for controlled uses; and
3. To urge the World Bank, together with the Governments of France, Germany and Japan and UNDP and UNIDO as cooperating agencies, to submit, no later than 31 December 2018, the project completion report on the phase-out of CTC consumption and production in India.
