Decision 82/61

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the progress report on implementation of the first tranche of stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for Botswana; and
2. To approve the second tranche of stage I of the HPMP for Botswana, and the corresponding 2018–2020 tranche implementation plan, in the amount of US $251,500, consisting of US $90,000, plus agency support costs of US $11,700 for UNEP, and US $140,000, plus agency support costs of US $9,800 for UNIDO, on the understanding:
   1. That Botswana had consumption in the servicing sector only;
   2. That the end-user incentive programme would enhance the sustainability of the training of servicing technicians and that end users would provide co‑financing to participate in the programme;
   3. That the end-user incentive programme would focus on small commercial refrigeration equipment; and
   4. That information on implementation of the programme would be included in the progress reports submitted when requesting future tranches of stage I of the HPMP.
