Decision 83/30

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the progress report on the development of a regional centre of excellence for training and certification and demonstration of alternative refrigerants with low global‑warming potential in the Europe and Central Asia region, submitted by the Government of the Russian Federation and contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/83/11;
2. To extend, on an exceptional basis, noting the substantial progress achieved so far, the completion date of the project referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above, to 31 December 2019, on the understanding that no further extension of project implementation would be requested; and

3. To request the Government of the Russian Federation to submit, no later than the 85^th meeting, the final report of the project referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above.
