The Executive Committee decided:

  1. To note document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/83/44 on key aspects related to HFC-23 by-product control technologies (decision 82/85); and
  2. To defer to the 84th meeting further consideration of the project proposal to control HFC-23 by-product emissions in Argentina and the associated policy issues raised by the Secretariat, referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above.
