Decision 87/13

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the progress report on implementation of the work programme associated with stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the request for an extension submitted by UNEP, contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/87/9;
2. To extend, on an exceptional basis owing to the delays imposed by the coronavirus disease pandemic, the completion date of stage I of the HPMP for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic until 31 December 2022, noting that no further extension would be requested; and
3. To request the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, UNEP and the Government of France to submit a project completion report to the first meeting of 2023.
