The Executive Committee:
(a) Decided that there should be an investigation of the practicality and implications of taking operating savings resulting from recovery and recycling into account and adjusting at a subsequent meeting of the Executive Committee institutional-strengthening grants or any other Fund-supported activity related to ozone layer protection for the country concerned on the basis of reported quantities of recovered ozone-depleting substances. This would not apply to small demonstration projects;
(b) Requested the Secretariat to prepare a paper on the subject for submission to the Committee at its Eighteenth Meeting.
