97th Meeting of the Executive Committee

The Executive Committee decided:

  1. To note:
    1. That the Government of Nicaragua had confirmed cancellation of the following ongoing projects implemented by UNIDO: NIC/PHA/92/INV/48, NIC/EEF/92/TAS/49, NIC/DES/93/PRP/53, NIC/EEF/93/DEM/56 and NIC/KIP/93/INV/57;
    2. That funds for projects NIC/DES/93/PRP/53 and NIC/EEF/93/DEM/56 had been returned by UNIDO at the 97th meeting, as listed in annex III to document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/97/4 (report on balances and availability of resources);
    3. That funds for projects NIC/PHA/92/INV/48 and NIC/EEF/92/TAS/49 NIC/KIP/93/INV/57 would be returned by UNIDO at the 98th meeting; and
  2. To request the Secretariat to follow up with the Government of Nicaragua on matters relating to Multilateral Fund-supported projects.
