The Executive Committee decided:
(a) to take note of these papers;
(b) to note that further work was needed;
(c) to request the Secretariat to undertake this further work, which should benefit from the experience of Article 5 countries with active recovery and recycling programmes. These countries were therefore requested to prepare status reports based on the questionnaire in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/18/70. Further work on the development of small- scale demonstration projects would not be postponed pending the finalization of guidance.
