Progress of implementation of country programmes
The Executive Committee:
(a) noted the report and expressed its appreciation to all the countries that had responded to the questionnaire on which the report was based, underlining, in particular, the efforts of the Article 5 countries to fulfil their commitments; and
(b) recognizing that the document raised a number of important issues deserving serious consideration, decided to request the Secretariat to update the report and to include the question of progress in the implementation of country programmes on the agenda of the Nineteenth Meeting.
