Noting the strong concern expressed by the Sub-Committee regarding the fact that a number of low‑volume‑consuming countries (LVCs) had received no funding from the Multilateral Fund, the Executive Committee decided to request the Implementing Agencies to give priority to these countries in the future and, if funds were available, during 1997.
