Decision 27/30

Having considered the relevant part of the report of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/27/13, paras. 50-51), the Executive Committee decided to take note of the statement in the Sub-Committee by the representative of UNDP to the effect that, of the two projects submitted by UNDP for the China solvent sector, the first (China Solvent Plan) had been withdrawn, with a request that the matter be taken up within the discussion of the solvent sector plan, while the second (a project for Irico (Caihong) Colour Picture Tube Factory) still required some work in order to be completed; UNDP, however, was prepared to do that at its own expense and thus withdraw the request for funding.
