Decision 28/10

After noting that some of the implementing agencies had explained to the Sub-Committee on Monitoring, Evaluation and Finance that delays in the implementation of recovery and recycling projects were often the result of Executive Committee decisions not to implement such projects until all of the necessary regulatory and legislative measures were in place to ensure success and having considered the recommendation of the Sub-Committee on Monitoring, Evaluation and Finance (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/28/4, para. 12), the Executive Committee decided to request those implementing agencies to report to its Twenty-ninth Meeting on the steps taken at the national level to expedite the provision of the necessary regulatory and legislative measures required for successful recovery and recycling projects.
