China: Replacement of CFC-11 and CFC-12 with cyclopentane and HFC-134a in the production of refrigerators at Banshen Electric Appliances Co (UNIDO) (UNEP/OzL.Pro/EoxCm/31/30)
Having considered the recommendations of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/31/21, paras. 58-60), the Executive Committee decided to approve the above project at the level of funding indicated in annex V to the present report, on the understanding that:
- The Government of China would provide information on the specific consumption in the remaining enterprises for the manufacture of domestic refrigerators;
- In view of the discrepancies in the data received, a careful examination would be made of the country programme updating procedure.
