Having considered the comments of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/31/21, paras. 64-66), the Executive Committee decided:
- To adopt the conclusions and the recommendations of the technical study on foam density, as contained in annex VII to the present report, for a period of one year for the calculation of incremental operating costs;
- To request the Secretariat to arrange for work on the subject to be resumed, in order to improve the conclusions. This resumed work, may include, inter alia, consideration of the costs and viability of LCD technology for small and medium-sized enterprises, within the context of existing guidelines and cost-effectiveness thresholds.
