Decision 41/1

Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note with appreciation the outstanding efforts made by the Chair of the Executive Committee to bring about the nomination and appointment of the Chief Officer;
2. To express its warm welcome to Ms. Maria Nolan and best wishes on her appointment as Chief Officer; and
3. To place the issue of Decision XV/48 of the Fifteenth Meeting of the Parties on the agenda of the Executive Committee for its 42^nd Meeting.
