Having considered the comments and recommendations of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/14, paragraphs 32 to 34), the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve in principle the national CFC phase-out plan for the Islamic Republic of Iran at a total level of funding of US $11,250,000 plus agency support costs of US $1,096,522 in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Executive Committee contained in Annex VI to the present report; and
- Also to approve funding for the implementation of the first tranche of the bilateral component of the project as follows:
- US $1,006,620 plus agency support costs of US $110,728 to the Government of France; and
- US $694,124 plus agency support costs of US $76,354 to the Government of Germany.
