Recalling Decision 38/36 and taking into account UNEP’s reports on the use of programme support costs (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/21 and UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/21/Add.1, and UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/22), and having considered the recommendations of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/14, paragraph 71), the Executive Committee decided to request UNEP:
- To investigate how it could prepare unified budgets for the Compliance Assistance Programme (CAP), possibly based on the concept of the general trust funds and integrating all the administrative costs and related expenses, as well as programme support costs, into an administrative budget; and
- To submit the result of the above investigation to the 43rd Meeting of the Executive Committee for its consideration.
