Having considered the comments and recommendations of the Sub-Committee on Project Review (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/41/14, paragraphs 142 and 143), the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve in principle the sector phase-out plan for CTC in Pakistan at a total level of funding of US $2,745,665 plus agency support costs of US $205,924 for UNIDO, in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of Pakistan and the Executive Committee contained in Annex XVI to the present report;
- To request UNIDO to ensure equipment for conversion was provided only to small enterprises whose eligibility had been verified; and
- To approve US $1,200,000 plus agency costs of US $90,000 for the first tranche of the project.
