Following a discussion, the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve in principle the national methyl bromide phase-out plan for Thailand at a total level of funding of US $2,901,600 plus agency support costs of US $217,620 for the World Bank, noting that approval was without prejudice to the operation of the Montreal Protocol’s mechanism for dealing with non-compliance;
- Also to approve the Agreement between the Government of Thailand and the Executive Committee contained in Annex XII to the present report; and
- Further to approve funding of US $546,991 plus support costs of US $41,024 for the World Bank for the first tranche of the phase-out plan.
