The Executive Committee decided to approve the project preparation request at the level of funding indicated in Annex VII to the present report, on the understanding that the approval was without prejudice to the operation of the Montreal Protocol's mechanism for dealing with non-compliance, and subject to all CFC-based funding proposals in the resulting project being directly related to the specific needs identified and quantified in Fiji’s report on implementation of its refrigerant management plan.
