Mexico: National CFC phase-out plan: 2nd tranche (UNIDO and the World Bank) (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/43/38)
Following a discussion, the Executive Committee decided:
- To note with appreciation that Mexico had reported that its actual 2004 CFC consumption was substantially lower than the maximum allowable consumption;
- To amend the agreement between the Government of Mexico and the Executive Committee to include the World Bank as cooperating implementing agency as contained in Annex XVI to the present report;
- To approve funding for the 2005 tranche of US $500,000, plus support costs of US $37,500 for the World Bank, and US $4,478,000, plus support costs of US $335,850 for UNIDO;
- To note that disbursement of the funding approved for UNIDO should not commence until agreement between the Secretariat and UNIDO had been reached that the verification of the 2004 objectives had been completed and that a satisfactory annual implementation programme for 2005 had been submitted; and
- To request the Secretariat to inform the Executive Committee of the progress achieved at its 46th Meeting.
