Decision 46/13

Following a discussion on the desirability of considering the report of the World Bank on global CTC production and the utility of asking the World Bank to make recommendations on that subject, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the World Bank’s progress report contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/46/15;
2. To note that the World Bank would report to the 47^th Meeting of the Executive Committee on a total of 29 projects with implementation delays, including 20 projects that had been so classified in 2004;
3. To request the World Bank to present its study on global CTC production to the 47^th Meeting of the Executive Committee, together with its recommendations;
4. To monitor the following projects by means of an additional status report to the 47^th Meeting of the Executive Committee in the context of projects with implementation delays and to note their slow progress:
   1. Post-harvest disinfestation demonstration project in Argentina (ARG/FUM/29/DEM/93); and
   2. Halon banking activity in Turkey (TUR/HAL/38/TAS/80).
