Decision 47/45

Following a discussion, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To express appreciation to the Government of Afghanistan for submitting data pursuant to Article 7 under difficult circumstances;
2. To approve the country programme of Afghanistan, noting that approval did not denote approval of the projects identified therein or their funding levels; and
3. To request the Government of Afghanistan to report to the Executive Committee on the progress made in implementing the country programme annually, noting that the first report should be submitted to the Secretariat no later than 1 May 2007.
