Following a discussion, the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve the Bangladesh country programme update, noting that approval of the country programme did not denote approval of the projects identified therein or their funding levels;
- To request the Government of Bangladesh to continue to present information annually on progress being made in the implementation of the country programme; and
- To request the Secretariat, in consultation with relevant implementing agencies, to prepare a paper for submission to the 49th Meeting outlining options for addressing the situation of countries referred to in decision XVII/14 of the Seventeenth Meeting of the Parties.
