Decision 51/27

Upon being advised of the outcome of further informal negotiations between the World Bank, the representative of China, and several Members of the Executive Committee and the Secretariat, the Executive Committee decided to approve the phase-out of CFC consumption in the pharmaceutical aerosol sector in China at a funding level of US $6 million plus support costs of US $450,000 for the World Bank, on the understanding that no more funding would be approved for new sector plans for the phase-out of CFC consumption in China, excluding the MDI sub-sector.
