After being advised by the facilitator of the contact group that the group had been unable to reach consensus, the Executive Committee decided:
- To defer consideration of the sector plan for phase-out of CFC consumption in China’s metered-dose inhaler (MDI) sector until the 54th Meeting; and
- To request the Government of China and UNIDO to take into consideration industrial rationalization and cost-effectiveness when resubmitting a revised project proposal.
