Decision 54/12

Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the information on annual tranches of multi-year agreements (MYAs) submitted to the Secretariat by Canada, Spain, UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO and the World Bank as contained in the document on annual tranche submission delays (UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/54/14);
2. To note that 26 of the 53 annual tranches of MYAs that were due for submission had been submitted on time to the 54^th Meeting, and that 27 had not been submitted;
3. That letters should be sent to the implementing agencies and the relevant Article 5 governments for the annual tranches listed in Annex VI to the present report that had been due for submission to the 54^th Meeting, together with the reasons indicated for the delay, and encouraging them to submit those annual tranche requests to the 55^th Meeting; and
4. To encourage the Government of Seychelles to expedite the implementation of the first tranche of its terminal phase-out management plan in order to submit the second tranche as soon as possible.
