Decision 56/1

Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the report of the Treasurer on the status of contributions and disbursements, the information on promissory notes and the list of countries using the fixed-exchange mechanism during the 2006-2008 triennium as contained in Annex I to the present report;
2. To urge all Parties to pay their contributions to the Multilateral Fund in full and as early as possible, considering that the present Meeting was the last Meeting of the last year of the current replenishment period; and
3. That, in accordance with decision 54/2, the report of the Executive Committee to the Meeting of the Parties should provide information on the arrears in contributions to the Multilateral Fund.
