The Executive Committee decided:

  1. To defer the requests for project preparation for demonstration projects for China; and
  2. To urge the Government of China and UNIDO to submit revised requests for consideration of the Committee in line with decision 55/43(e) and (f) and decision 56/16 to the 57th Meeting.
