Decision 58/30

Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided to approve the pilot project for validation of methylal as a blowing agent in the manufacture of polyurethane foam (phase I) in Brazil at a cost of US $464,200, plus agency support costs of US $34,815 for UNDP, on the understanding that the laboratory equipment required for the validation of the technology would be donated to a not-for-profit research facility once phases I and II of the demonstration project had been completed.
