Decision 60/7

Following the Secretariat’s presentation, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note with appreciation, the information on annual tranche submission delays under multi-year agreements (MYAs) submitted to the Secretariat by France, UNDP, UNEP, UNIDO, and the World Bank, as contained in the document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/60/13;
2. To further note that 25 of the 55 annual tranches in MYAs due for submission had been submitted on time to the 60^th Meeting, but that the remaining 30 had not been;
3. To request the Secretariat to send letters for the annual tranches, as indicated in Table 1 in Annex III to the present report, that had been due for submission to the previous two Meetings with the reasons indicated for the delay, and encouraging bilateral and implementing agencies and the relevant Article 5 governments to take action to expedite the implementation of the approved tranches so that the overdue tranches could be submitted as early as possible; and
4. To request the Secretariat to send letters for the annual tranches, as indicated in Table 2 in Annex III to the present report, that had been due for submission to the 60^th Meeting with the reasons indicated for the delay, and encouraging bilateral and implementing agencies and the relevant Article 5 governments to submit those annual tranches as early as possible.
