Following discussions, the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve the provision of a sum of US $20,000 as additional emergency assistance for institutional strengthening for Haiti on an exceptional basis, taking into consideration the circumstances facing the National Ozone Unit in Haiti after the devastation of the country’s infrastructure by the earthquake in 2010; and
- To request UNEP as lead agency to present, at the 62nd Meeting of the Executive Committee, a strategy and action plan to assist the country to return to the pre‑earthquake implementation level.
