Project completion reports

The Executive Committee decided:

  1. To note the 2010 consolidated project completion report contained in documents UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/62/8 and UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/62/8/Add.1, including the schedule for submission of project completion reports (PCRs) due and the lessons learned in Annex II to document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/62/8;
  2. To request the bilateral and implementing agencies concerned:
    1. To establish by the end of January 2011, in cooperation with the Fund Secretariat, full consistency of data reported in the PCRs in the inventory of approved projects and in the annual progress reports;
    2. To provide the information still missing in a number of PCRs by the end of January 2011;
    3. To clear the backlog of PCRs on projects completed before the end of 2006 by the end of January 2011;
  3. To request the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to address the issue of development of a completion report format for completed multi-year projects as a matter of priority and to inform the 65th meeting of the Executive Committee on progress; and
  4. To invite all those involved in the preparation and implementation of projects to take into consideration the lessons learned from PCRs when preparing and implementing future projects.
