Following the discussion, the Executive Committee decided:
- To approve phase VI of the institutional strengthening (IS) renewal project for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, covering the period January 2010 to December 2011, at the level of funding of US $130,000, and phase VII of the IS renewal project, covering the period January 2012 to December 2013, at the level of funding of US $130,000; and
- To request UNEP to ensure the application of the strict and timely monitoring procedure and transparent method of fund disbursement contained in the Progress Report on the Implementation of the Executive Committee decision 66/15 on the Institutional Strengthening Project of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (as contained in Annex II to document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/68/6/Add.1).
