Decision 70/27

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To take note of the progress report on the selection of the Chief Officer of the Multilateral Fund Secretariat, as presented by the Chair of the Executive Committee and Co-chair of the Selection Panel to the 70^th meeting of the Executive Committee;
2. To authorize the Chair of the Executive Committee to forward the Selection Panel’s report and recommendation, on behalf of the Executive Committee and through the Executive Director of UNEP, to the Senior Review Group and to the United Nations Secretary-General; and
3. To request the Chair of the Executive Committee to closely monitor the process and report to the Executive Committee at its 71^st meeting.
