The Executive Committee decided:
- To note the final report on the demonstration project for conversion from HCFC‑22/HCFC-142b technology to CO2 with methyl formate co-blowing technology in the manufacture of extruded polystyrene (XPS) foam at Feininger (Nanjing) Energy Saving Technology Co. Ltd. in China, submitted by UNDP, contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/73/17/Add.1; and
- To request bilateral and implementing agencies to consider the information contained in the final report mentioned in sub-paragraph (a) above, together with information on other alternatives, when assisting Article 5 countries in preparing projects for the phase-out of HCFCs in XPS foam applications.
