The Executive Committee, recognizing the special situation of the Government of Libya, decided:
- To approve the request for funding for phase IV of the institutional strengthening project for Libya for one year only, in the amount of US $68,033, plus agency support costs of US $4,762 for UNIDO, without prejudice to the operation of the Montreal Protocol’s mechanism on non-compliance; and
- To encourage the Government of Libya to work with UNIDO in order to return to compliance and to submit its request for the second year of funding for phase IV of the institutional strengthening project to the first meeting of the Executive Committee in 2016.
