ODS Disposal

The Executive Committee decided:

  1. To note:
    1. The format for the surveys of ODS alternatives contained in document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/75/77/Rev.1 on the understanding that information contained in Part I (Preparation of the surveys) and Annex I (Use of ODS alternatives per sector) of the document was provided for guidance purposes only;
    2. That surveys would be conducted on a voluntary basis, information would be collected where available, and the results would solely be for information purposes;
  2. That national surveys on ODS alternatives would be undertaken by Article 5 countries that had received funding from the Multilateral Fund to cover the years 2012–2015, with the assistance of the relevant bilateral or implementing agency and using the methodology and approach agreed between the country and the agency; and
  3. That results of the survey would be presented as per Part II (Presentation of the results of the surveys) and Annex II (Data analysis tables by sectors) of document UNEP/OzL.Pro/ExCom/75/77/Rev.1.
