Decision 80/21

The Executive Committee decided:

1. To take note of the 2017 progress report on the implementation of stage I of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for the Islamic Republic of Iran, submitted by UNDP;
2. To reiterate that, in cases where an enterprise in an Article 5 country approved to receive funding for conversion under an HPMP ceased to be involved in that HPMP, for any reason, any unspent balances allocated to that enterprise should be returned to the Multilateral Fund in line with previous Executive Committee decisions, unless otherwise agreed by the Committee;
3. To deduct US $126,545, plus agency support costs of US $14,393 for the Government of Germany, from the second tranche of stage II of the HPMP of the Islamic Republic of Iran, when submitted, corresponding to 2.90 ODP tonnes of HCFC-141b associated with the enterprise Behdor Ranging, which had ceased to be involved in the HPMP.
