The Chair introduced the sub-item. The Executive Committee decided:
- To note, with appreciation, the final report, submitted by UNDP, of the project to demonstrate the application of an ammonia/carbon-dioxide refrigeration system in place of HCFC-22 for the medium-sized producer and retail store at Premezclas Industriales S.A. in Costa Rica; and
- To invite bilateral and implementing agencies to take into account the final report of the demonstration project mentioned in sub-paragraph (a) above when assisting Article 5 countries in preparing projects for replacing HCFC-22 used in commercial refrigeration systems in medium-sized producers and retail stores.
