The Executive Committee decided to consider, during the development of cost guidelines for the phase‑down of HFCs in Article 5 countries, how an enterprise’s interim use of technology with high global‑warming potential (GWP) that was not the approved low-GWP technology should be treated in relation to a country’s starting point for sustained aggregate reductions in HFC consumption.
