Decision 82/76

Following informal consultations, the Executive Committee decided:

1. To note the progress report on implementation of the first tranche of stage II of the HCFC phase-out management plan (HPMP) for Uruguay; and
2. To approve the second tranche of stage II of the HPMP for Uruguay, and the corresponding 2018–2020 tranche implementation plan, in the amount of US $679,889, plus agency support costs of US $47,592 for UNDP, on the understanding that:
   1. End-users participating in the pilot projects to demonstrate the use of alternatives with low global-warming potential in supermarkets and the food industry would provide co-financing; and
   2. UNDP would report, at the 84^th meeting on the progress in implementation of the conversion of the foam enterprises and the availability of hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) and HFO-based polyurethane systems and their associated components.
